A change of mind changes everything: Part 1 | 009

We are all part of so much change, pressure and uncertainty.  We don’t really have much control over what happens outside of us.  What we do have control over is how we respond or react to that change or external circumstances.

Self-control is really the only form of control we actually have or even more than that we are most empowered when we are surrendered to what is, finding a flow from of place of where we see we are enough rather than from fear. This needs to happen from a conscious place.

How do we respond to change in our subconscious?

Many of the beliefs, expectations, perceptions are not conscious and many are born out of a place of fear?

When our subconscious experiences a sense of loss: a loss of direction, a loss of control, a loss of competence in ability to deliver or perform or a loss of security. Our subconscious picks up on this and joints the dot based on passed experience and creates a story.  That thought often then creates a fear and a resistance to change and so we often then battle the external environment.  With a shift in mindset can make all the difference in how we cope internally and deal with the external world because we cannot always change what is always going on around us but we can always change our reactions.

“We all live in a field of consciouness that reflects back at us not what we think in our heads but what we feel in our hearts.”  – Albert Einstein.

These are some examples of beliefs that run subconsciously in many of our minds. You can answer the following sentence starters as a quick brainstorm activity to discover some of your own beliefs. Then ask yourself –   How does that thought affect my ability to deal with changes?
