EQ matters because we are emotional beings. EQ helps us to understand and relate with those around us in an effective way.
My background includes a combination of teaching, mentoring, experiential education and counseling, spanning over twenty-five years. I am an educator and experiential education facilitator by profession. I taught in High School before joining Outward Bound (an international experiential education organization renowned for working with people from all works of life to effect behavioural change).
